"I was born in Lawton, OK to a family of 8 surrounded by alcoholism. As a result, I became part of the foster care system and was passed around most of my childhood. I went back and forth between an alcoholic family and the foster care system. I was raised in poverty and addiction and most everyone I was close to got arrested. By age 14, I was locked up at the McAlester juvenile detention center. After release, I was in and out of lock up and/or rehabs. By age 18, I was a high school dropout, full blown addict and homeless. From then on, I was in and out of prison. Repeating this cycle again and again. I have tried rehab and sober living programs over and over with the same failing result. After finding Wings of Tahlequah, Josh and Ginger, Dan and Tony and Ann, I have finally found success living clean and sober. My relationship with God is much stronger and I am finally learning how to live the right way. I am also learning how to manage money and have a steady job for the first time in my life. I am very blessed to have found Wings of Tahlequah. I got a whole new family straight from God."
